Format of the Seminars.

IFEC arranges seminars across the UK to help improve awareness and understanding of Islamic Finance. We are able to bring the practitioners, education providers and experts to your community to help improve understanding about Islamic Finance. Each seminar lasts approx 3 hours and takes the following format:

Part 1 - 30 minutes - Attendees are able to meet the seminar sponsors and hosts on an informal basis.

Part 2 - 60 minutes - Presentation covering Islamic Finance & Sponsor presentations. Sections covering:

 a) Principles of Islamic finance

 b) The difference between conventional products and Shariah compliant ones

 c) Islamic finance in the news

 d) Islamic finance providers in the UK and around the world

 e) Social responsibility in Islam and how Islamic Finance is a core part of it

Part 3 - 60 to 90 minutes - Panel discussion and Q&A opportunity with attendees

Part 4 - 10 minutes - Final words and close.
